Description:Reporting to the Director of Informatics the Financial Analyst will use various systems and data sources to determine and support contract pricing and analytics for American Health Care’s PBM and 340b clients. The candidate will manage complex projects with varying priorities while keeping track of project tasks and deliverables to ensure timelines are met. He/she must be a highly detail oriented individual with excellent data management skills.

• Conduct financial modeling and analysis
• Review and assess pricing proposals and current client financial and claims data
• Research primary market trends and conduct data analysis in conjunction with senior leadership
• Apply analytical skills to support the implementation of pricing for various client offers.
• Perform queries and manage data from multiple claims processing platforms to: research, create reports and tracking tools, and provide solutions to address risks
• Evaluate a wide array of data types, including case review, prescription drug claims, and eligibility data
• Work with complex data to develop and produce standard and ad hoc analysis in support of Client Reporting, Performance Management, and Sales / Account Management departments
• Be the liaison for reporting requests between clients, internal users and the IT programming and database teams; gather needs, recommend reporting formats, and assist in the QA of the resulting products
• Validate accuracy of new reports and tools prior to release to stakeholders
• Develop improved methods of report delivery

• Knowledge of healthcare industry and data analytics.
• The ability to create comprehensive financial models and generate pro-forma financial statements using MS Excel and MS Access
• The willingness and interest in conducting detailed financial analytical work
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to function well in a collaborative team brainstorming environment
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex pharmacy claims
• Ability to pay close attention to details with extreme accuracy but also be able to see how the details work within the bigger picture
• Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze medical and pharmacy claim data
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong quantitative abilities and problem solving skills
• Highly analytical, always looking for a new ways to examine data
• Strong PC and software application experience
• Must possess strong written and verbal skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Economics
• Three (3) years of Healthcare/PBM experience working with data management preferred
• 2-3 years experience in data analytics
• Understand concepts working with relational databases- preferred
• Public Accounting and Internal Audit experience- preferred
• Clear background check
